i went out wednesday night with the girls. it was more fun than i've had at the bar in ages. we drank, we danced, boys tried to pick us up. afterwards, i went over to one of the girl's and attempted to watch eddie murphy's raw. i've seen it before (hilarious stand up) but i couldn't keep my eyes open for longer than 30 minutes. i woke up at 4:30 am and my friend drove me home.
yesterday i woke up with the worst hangover EVER. i was out of comission for the day. didn't really do much. watched the first harry potter after cooking and eating dinner. i liked it. though the book is better by far.
then, last night, when i should have been at SGB, i worked. it was okay. i mean work, not missing SGB.
i just got home, had my morning cigarette. i will brush my teeth and face soon, and read a bit more before sleeping for a while. today i will watch the second harry potter movie (h.p. and the chamber of secrets). it will not be as good as the first one. the second book was not as exciting, though i breezed through it all the same. after the movie, i will attempt to sleep a bit more before going in to work at 11 pm tonight.
no real plans for the weekend. i was supposed to go to canada's wonderland with my boy and my brother and his girlfriend but those plans fell through. no matter. i will be going to TO on monday to prep for quebec. i'm kind of getting excited about it now, but also overwhelmed. there's so much to do beforehand.
and that is my not-so-exciting life for the next little while.
question: what is your middle name? who were you named after?
i don't have one (i'm oh so eastern european) but a friend once told me that it should be penelope, so i've been telling people that that is what it would be if i had one. my comformation name is elizabeth, after my sponsor. if you don't know what a comformation name is, you're obviously not cathlic and i feel for your soul which will burn for all eternity in the fires of hell. or so i've been told. i am, of course, joking. i hope. because if not, i'm screwed.

From my father's side, there are three names that are recycled. Robert, Watson and Oliver. That's all it's been for the past four generations. That's it for first and middle name. I'm Robert Watson Fisher, my dad is Oliver Robert Fisher, grandpa was Watson Robert Fisher and great grandpa was Oliver Robert Fisher too. Not much pressure on me for naming my first son, is there?
You missed an excellent show last night. I'll tell you all about it soon.
