Am I the only person who feels movies are just fancy commercials that I pay to see?

Every movie I go to seems to be a vehicle for desire. All the characters are built, attractive people I would like to sleep with. They all drive the latest model suv/most expensive vehicle appropriate to character development.

Desire is innately unsatisfactory. There is no reward for indulging desire but more desire. Why not focus on the core? The soul?

I know who I am. I am the first born son to parents who never attended/graduated from college. They surely never had any of the things that I am supposed to desire. I have a legacy to work from. I have the work laid out for me. And I will conquer it.

I refuse this bullsh!t materialist society. I buy generic. Fuck A&F, Hollister, Kraft, Phillip Morris, and their mothers! I buy assets. I vote not just with my ballot, but with my wallet. I am the empowered citizen that corporations marginalize to maximize their bottom lines.

I stand for peace. I am an agressive pacificist. And that if bothers anyone, we should talk about it because if I can't convince you that pacificism is the way to go then at least we'll have exchanged ideas.

The universe has a strange way of reacting to what you put out there. I saw a picture today of someone I dated in high school and fell in love again for an hour. Be careful what you wish for. It will come true.
