WOOT! I'm finally back. Not like anyone knew I was gone....but my internet has been down since Thursday. I seriously did not know what to do with myself. I was so sad and lost without it. I know realize how pathetic that sounds but I really was very very sad. I might have even possibly cried a little bit when no one was looking
But anyhoo, I am also VERY glad to be back in civilization. For the long weekend I went to Bracebridge on Friday with Tricky. We went up with his brother and his bro's gf and his sister and her fiance and we stayed at his other's sisters house who lives there. It's a really really cute house. I want one.....but not that far away. So on Friday nite we went to some bar type thingy called The Cottage....in Huntsville or something I believe. This was after we had already done some pre drinking and I had a mild heart attack and all. You see, I have problems with my heart.....and well...when I drink too fast it literally feels like I'm having a heart attack. I sat outside in the freezing cold for a bit and then went to lie down in some guys bed (whose house we were at) and then I was all better. I think I gave Trickyand everyone quite a fright though. So anyhoo, we went to the bar....stayed for about 20 minutes and then Tricky and I decided we were tired so we wanted to leave. Well, forgetting that it's dark and cold and we were in a strange town, we then decided to walk back to this fellow's house to pick up Tricky's car. I was wearing stupid flip flops that hurt my feet (that I only wore cuz they matched my shirt) AND cuz I didnt think I would be walking for 35153141 miles. Ok it was only like 20 minutes but still!! And then we drove the 20 minutes or so back to the house. Then on Saturday, we all went out for breakfast and Tricky and I hit the shops in Bracebridge before embarking on a road trip. We drove all over those little towns and I hit some MORE stores (who knew such little towns could make me spend SO much money). We finally stopped in Midland and got a hotel room at some hotel (who claimed that ALL the other hotels and such from there to Toronto were booked) which could be true cuz of the whole Live8 thingy. But yeah. I wasn't impressed with staying there at first. But then we got to our room and it was huge and they had an indoor pool and stuff so I got over my little hissy fit. But then something really weird happened. Someone knocked on our door and when Tricky came back he said it was some muslim girl who had the wrong room. I laughed and was like "maybe it was "so and so"'s sister (not gonna give out the poor kids name). And then I remembered that I had seen a car that looked like this families car when Tricky was checking into the room. So then we went swimming...and just as im standing there in my bikini (of all bathing attire!!) I see this girl walk by and look at me. I did a double glance and it WAS that kid from my class sister!! How weird is that. They were staying in the middle of nowhere in the same hotel as us. It freaked me right out. So I told her to tell her parents hi and such. So this morning, we headed back towards Toronto. We stopped by Barrie and it is a REALLY cute town. I always thought it was some ghetto town in the middle of nowhere (cuz i dont get out much obviously). But ya....I think that if I ever moved away from the city, that Barrie is one of the only towns I would actually LIKE to live in. So after that we headed home, rented The Keeper (which i swear to god is THE worst movie EVER made). And then I got my friend to come fix my internet before i had a panic attack and here I am. Now I'm being sad cuz Tricky is going away all this week for work and I'm going to miss him.
It's amazing how one amazing weekend can make all the rest of your life seem so sad and pathetic. I like how Tricky and I didnt actually DO much of anything, except drive around and buy LOTS of clothes and candy....but yet it was one of THE best weekends I have ever had. So, if I seem extra sad and lonely this week....that would be the reason why. Be prepared to give me lots of hugs and kisses (either real or virtual, I'm not picky). Oh, and leave me lots of comments so that I feel extra special. Thanks!!
