Goodbye to a long weekend.
My work hours were borederline insane, considering the job. There is an appaling amount of physical labor involved in being a server where I work. Doing it for three days straight, 8+ hours each day, is pretty taxing to a body that's used to sitting around in the glow of neon bar signs and electronic entertainment while double fisting whiskey and cigarettes. Despite my aptitude for incredible laziness, I made it through without injury this time, and some fat cash to boot.
My computer is still a useless hunk of bad wiring and whirring fans. I'm not sure that I can even fix it on my own at this point, seeing as how the problem seems to have traveled beyond my realm of comprehension. I'm not really distraught about this seeing as how the only thing on it was a gig and a half of ill-gotten music, but the spare I'm working off of now is terribly slow. This puts me in the market for a replacement, which I'm sort of welcoming. I have wanted to ditch the desktop and move into the lap area for quite some time. Plus with my hybrid online classes starting next week, it would be handy to do the online portion wherever I want...say, for instance, at my favorite bar.
Dear Drunken Weather Gnomes of Michigan,
Please keep the sun out for at least a few days.
Thanks.
