It is that grin oop north, but then again, it's not that much better in London! Besides, York is a beautiful city, and I've had many a great day, just chilling out in the ruins of the old church, getting stoned and watching the peacocks wander by! I keep meaning to find the time and go again, got a few friends there that I haven't seen for what seems like forever. Maybe sometime over the summer.
Oh, and did you happen to visit the Evil Eye Lounge while you were there? Easily the best bar in York.

- Take a look in the Boards section and browse through some of the recent UK threads. This will give you an idea of who the active UK members are. Leave some comments in the blogs of members you like or are interested in. This applies to all members in general but I'm assuming you're especially interested in UK members.
- Apply for membership in SGUK. This is known as a Regional Group and is where SG meets and activities are planned and announced. You won't find out about these events unless you're a member. The reason for these restricitions is to...well...basically prevent weirdos from showing up at meets.
Believe it or not, there have been problems in the past. Anyway, you'll need two other current SGUK members to vouch for you to get your application approved. The process can take awhile so you need to be patient.
