It's registration day!
In 20 minutes I'll have my courses for Fall and Winter all sorted out. I made a schedule up already and I hope there's still openings in the classes I want.
Sadly though, the U of C didn't give me transfer equivalents for all the bio courses I've taken, just the credits. I really wanted to get a bio minor but if I have to go back and do my first year all over again then I'll never finish my degree. Maybe once I have a tonne of money I'll go back and get a WHOLE bio degree. Ha take that u of c. . . all $40,000 of it.
So it's anthropology and archaeology courses for now. Which are fun, but since I just got credits instead of equivalents for those too I'm taking a bunch of courses I've taken already. I guess it'll help my GPA out, which is also good because social work is a really competitive program.
Once I know what my school schedule is for sure, I'll go look for a job. Visa (my dog. . . and my credit card actually) cost a lot more than expected so I'm a little more broke then I thought I would be. I can still make it through the summer without working, but I'd like to cut a chunk out of the massive debt I'm accumulating. I think I'll just work part time to get myself used to working again. Fuck this is why I'm in University, to avoid doing shitty work, but it seems that the process requires some ironic punishment.
