I found a new place! It's a 2 bedroom top floor of a house with a fireplace and huge kitchen. My best bud is taking the suite below us, so we don't really have to worry about noise. The only downside is it's a little, no no it's really suburban. Our neighbourhood is called "Edgemont Estates". That's kind of how Calgary is set up though. Unless you live downtown you're surrounded by an infinite abyss of other houses. I'm going to miss Vancouver and my ability to walk to the grocery store or school. Sigh...
Working on getting my Langara courses transfered to the U of C. I'm going from person to person trying to figure out who needs my transcripts and course outlines and who's willing to help me. I got a reply from the Science department advisor, but she obviously filed my e-mail in the bullshit file, as when she sent it back to me it said "re: Fraud? Generic Transfer codes". Oh University how I loathe you and your scam like ability to suck the poorest demographic of society out of the little money and patience we have. Maintenance of class separation much?

Calgarians do seem to hate walking...
The best thing I find is doing things in person. So figure out who you need to talk to, and when you are able to meet up with them for a quick 5 minute chat. Good luck with everything!
