I hate when I feel that if I don't have much to say, I feel I should still just say SOMETHING.
Only here on SG though, when I feel that way in public, I usually just keep my mouth shut.

I may be having a brief moment here, like maybe a week or so in length so far where I am kinda outta touch with myself and what I want. I'm only sayin that because of these ghosts of emotion I seem to be catching as of late.

Sometimes it's anger, sometimes sorrow, sometimes just a quick flash of frustration or worry or something.
Thats the thing though -- "something". I don't know what that is. I cant seem to trace the emotion down to the root of itself, its cause. Seems like as soon as I recognize the fact that I am feeling something its gone. Im just left with the ghost.

Thats whats making me say Ive lost touch. Normally Ill feel a feeling come on, grab at it, and I think Im usually pretty good at sliding down the emotion vine to dig up the bulb holding it firm in my mud, taking a close look at it, and then usually planting it back there and tamping it down to let it run its natural course.

Not this time around.
I feel something, and before I can even recognize what it is, its gone. Theres no tracing back, no roots, no passion, just tracers and whisps.

Maybe it's work, I'm picking up a strange vibe there lately, and I think something's up.
dunno,
that's all I have to say about that.
........................................................

Ill leave this note with a new pet peeve Ive been nursing:

[bitch mode]
On a long escalator (like the Granville Skytrain station for example) the hand rails are clearly marked Walk left, Stand right. There are even arrows there to point to which side of the escalator you should be standing on if you wanna be lazy or have a pre-existing medical condition or a doctors note that says you are not allowed to walk up stairs,. Pretty simple.

Ok, so Im not even going to mention the people that just plainly stand on the left side of the escalator for the entire ride up, blocking like 80 people trying to walk up they are just plain annoying and that ones pretty obvious.

No, my new peeve is the people that actually decide to walk up right from the bottom, so they walk ALL the way up the escalator in front of you, (maybe a bit too slow, but I have long legs, so I cut them some slack and dont tailgate their ass,) but if you are going to walk up the escalator, then walk up the escalator!
Why would you walk ALL the way almost to the top, and then simply stop and stand there when there are only like 6 steps left??
I have noticed so many people do this (obviously, the people right in front of me) seriously truckin all the way up, and then like a switch: they just stop and stand for the last 10 feet, waiting to be carried to the top.

Do they make like really small, low voltage cattle prods? Sometimes I could use one.
[/bitch mode]

boggs:
A fly-in trip up north is something I've always wanted to do. As for losing touch temporarily, I think it happens to everyone once in a while and especially at this time of year. I get the winter doldrums around this time every year and the only way to get out of it is to do something for me. A couple of years ago I ran away to Mexico for a month to surf and collect myself, and last year I went on a short ski trip to Big White. Both times I was able to clear my head and come back fresh and charged about everything. But that's just me.

People who stand on the left side of the escalator are running serious risk of being thrown off!

My dear Pica_Pica you are emotionally exhausted. It is time for you to take a breather. You will find what you are looking for when you take a rest.

Oh by the way...your skytrain escalator peeve pisses me off as well. That's why I stop at Burrard Station. It's not "as" populated by those of whom you refer to.

I have 9 days left on the cleanse.
