And now for something completely different.
About 4 or 5 years ago, I was driving my truck down Richards street. While waiting for the light on Georgia, I looked out my side window and saw a woman on the sidewalk that banged a gong in my old school memory.
I really mean my old school.
I was positive that that woman I saw was the very same woman that was a girl that I had at my grade 2 birthday party when I was a boy and I had invited heather moony, ashwin sood, and colin backaway. But that was 30 years ago at the time, and we would have been 6 years old. I couldnt be positive.
I rolled down my window and yelled out the name that she used to be called by, and the womans face turned in surprise towards my truck.
Sure enough it was her.
I am happy to have crossed paths with her again, and 4 years ago we exchanged MSN nicks over a beer at the railway.
Last night, I (for the first time in a really really long time) saw her pop up on my MSN contact list, we started chatting, catching up, comparing stories. I explained the cathartic therapy I have found in my anonymous online blog, and eventually pasted the link to my SG world.
She checked it out briefly, and Im totally happy to welcome the only person that probably ever heard me play violin or sing a solo as the scarecrow when I was 13 years old in the wizard of Oz,
So hey guys, welcome hotbonbon to the site.
Please say Hi to her, she's new, and she's my friend.

Thanks for your warm welcome and vignette of memory lane. Really nice on a rainy day like today. I'm glad you're feeling better, (even th ough your xbox isn't....as if I even know what the hell you're talking about!) and that you feel strong. We must have coffee soon k? This is all well and fine but I"d love to see you! You can meet the Jack Rabbit and see what all the fuss is about.
Lemme know.....I'm pretty flex with time.
Cheers!!
