Heya
I just got home from seeing Gimpy. I stayed with her for about a half hour or so. You were right, shes quite sick.
She totally recognized me though, and I was actually able to get a couple high fives out of her! I wish you were there for that, she perked up a bit for about 10 minutes and sat up for me, head butting my hand and purring.
Then she got tired again, and relaxed.
They were just about to feed her again as I was leaving, that was about 10 minutes ago.
I have no idea what is keeping you so angry, but for what its worth Im thinking of your pain with this Gimpy thing, and Im really sorry for you.
Its making me extremely sad as well, so even though we are obviously not going to talk about it, your not alone with this one.
As a friend and as somebody that was there through the whole process of saving him in the first place, and watching him grow up into a her, I really really hope she can pull through this. I told her that she better start eating or I was going to send Morgan after her. She had a little chuckle at that.
She would be so much happier back at your place, is there any way that you could take a day or two off and spend the time with her at your place? Maybe she would come around faster if she wasnt in that place?
Anyways. I dont know what your work schedule is like, or what is going to happen, but please dont lock me out of this.
In an emergency, please call me on my Cell.
Ok, thats that.
Good night,
Shaun

Well, things around me are bad, but I don't think I am doing badly around them.
And yeah, Gimpy makes me sad. I generally don't want to be sad though, and kinda hope I don't come across that way too much. I certainly was 2 months ago, but now this whole thing has turned into somewhat of an interesting study in some sort of bizarre micro-sociology.
That's been in my thought processes as of late, but it's too convoluted to try to explain in a quick jabbing type session, so I have been trying to get around to really updating, but haven't quite created the time yet.
I never did get a response to that email regarding Gimpy, I had to call the vet myself to find out what was going on.
