I know it's not going to stick around out there, but still....
S N O W !!!
hmph. 12 hours after saying I'm currently going through that stage of no connection, I dream some whacked dream and the only thing I can remember is a word:
Haran
huh? I don't know this word.
It was strange enough, and I woke with enough of a left over "aura" from it that the first thing I did upon waking -- instead of stumbing to the coffee machine, instead of going to the bathroom while that first gurgle of hot water hit the filter, instead of lighting the christmas-y cranberry candles over by the writing desk, was to give this mouse a kick and hit up dictionary.com
Ah, nevermind. More strangeness.
Simplest definition is simply a town in Turkey, near the Euphrates,
ah HA! the book I am currently reading, The Greenmantle, written in 1917 by some guy who very likely saw action in WWI, was currently taking place in Turkey near the Euphrates, so obviously I saw the word somewhere in the text last night in the few pages I read before falling asleep with the light on and the book on my chest.
I went back into the bedroom and took the book off the pillow beside where my own head goes, and scoured through the paragraphs.
Hmm, no Haran to be found.
could be anything really.
Or nothing.
Or I should try to get a hold of Dad... who I haven't heard from in years now.
