on a whim today, I bought a PCI wireless adapter card.

thought "hmm, west end... second most populated area in north america next to manhattan... I wonder if anybody living close to me has installed a wireless access point... mmmaybe I should buy this card strictly in an investigative survey sorta way... "

uh, yeah.. could be that.
