Oh... nicely done by me! Ended up replying to my own journal, rather than updating. How's that for sounding pathetic.
Anyhew, here's what I meant to say:
The way science works is really weird. Half of the time, you're floundering around trying to make sense of data that is completely confounding. Then, occasionally, you have a moment of epiphany and it all makes sense. I think that I had such a moment yesterday So, I now have a formal hypothesis to test. Who would have thunk! And if Im right, I may have been unknowingly studying one of the holy grails of plant biology for the last 4 years. chibivesicle was kind enough to let me drink her wine and listen to me rant about this last night. For the first time in ages, I'm actually excited about what I'm doing.
That being said, I have a burning desire to party my ass off. Ive missed the Om festival for the past two years, and reading the lovely Malloreigh's journal has reminded me that Shambala was last weekend. Oh, how Id love to dance under the stars with a head full of chems!!
