I've been best friends with the same girl, Brianne since 1986. Even though we live opposite sides of the country now we are still bestfriends. This week she had to fly redeye alone, without her husband and kids back to Michigan because her Mom was dying. She died yesterday morning. Yesterday afternoon Brianne asked if she could come to my house for a break, and it was like old times. We were together everyday, when we werent together we were on the phone with eachother. We took vacations and spring breaks, 16th birthdays and everything. We lived 3 blocks away from eacother. My family is her family. Seeing her here in the flesh in my living room made me so sad. I guess it was bittersweet. I just want to say that if you have a Brianne in your life, a person that is like your soulmate <without relations>, the other sock to your argyle pair cherish them. In fact tell me if you do! This is us the last time we saw eachother December of 1999.
