I good friend of mine from high school is in town for the next week. He hung out with my son and I last night at The Block. We did Starbucks for a while. My son likes getting the small package of shortbread cookies and carefully dipping them in hot chocolate.

After we got home, we watched some Spongebob, and the Thomas the Tank Engine movie. I can't count the number of times I've watched that...

Our yearly bonus at work comes in a couple of weeks. The lovely Shalome offered to step up to the Hot Eye for the Boring Guy challenge, so I may have to borrow her for an afternoon. If she agrees, I'll see if we can get some good pictures of the event...

I'm off to rustle up something for breakfast.
