Maybe someone can answer this for me:
Why do I wake up early after nights that I drink?
Given no external stimuli, on a normal morning I will wake up between 8:30 and 9:00. On mornings after I drink, I wake up between 6:30 and 7:00. And I'm talking wide awake.
I've been up since 6:40.
Had a great time last night. Five of us total, as a couple friends weren't able to come down from Santa Clarita. Saw a couple of people I hadn't seen for several months, and met someone new.
The Yardhouse was out of both Young's Double Chocolate Stout and Young's Oatmeal Stout, so I ended up with a Beamish Irish Stout (rant: unless there is a good reason for it---like you're doing something animated---Flash sites bug the crap out of me
; this Beamish site is a perfect example of a site where Flash does absolutely nothing to enhance the content, and limits the viewing audience the site is intended for. And on top of all that, they make you click on a button to launch the Flash site!
If you must do your site in Flash, follow the lead of sites such as Homestar Runner: each page has it's own URL. That's all I ask for, peoples---is that such a difficult thing?!).
Er, /rant.
Three of the folks left after the Yardhouse, so my friend who drive up from San Diego, who I have known since Middle School, walked around Irvine Spectrum, and then sat for a while and had a cigar and a latte.
We ended up talking until around 1:30 this morning.
Last night she said that on weekends, she normally sleeps in until around 6:00.
It's 8:30 and she's not awake yet.
No big plans today. I may play Dungeon Siege for a while. Or put a movie on. Or spend entirely too much time on the SG boards...

Usaully, if drink lightly I too wake up earlier than I should. I think because the beer helps me fall asleep faster; therefore, I wake up earlier and shit.
*side note*
I was just looking into cracking some WEPs in my building. I have no experience in hacking, so I thought this would be a good exercise. You informed me that you were doing some research on this, so I will let you know how it goes.
