I think I'm going to get a tat over the holiday break. I've only been thinking about it for 10 years (nearly 10 years anyway, will be around October '05ish timeframe).
My plan is to have it where my shoulder socket would be from the front, going a litle down both the front of my arm, and coming toward my chest.
The image will be of my skin torn, and peeled back (not in a gory sense, but revealing) showing a steel joint with intricate hydraulics disappearing into the arm for movement. The steel structure would disappear behind a detailed futuristic motherboard layout with the corner of the main CPU showing, and light pulses tracing down the circuit paths.
I actually don't know if this would translate into a real tattoo as well as I have it in my mind. I also have *no* idea how to put the design on paper (totally not artistic in that way), and I don't have any idea who to go to for this.
So, if you have any thoughts on the design, the implementation, or recommendations on who to go to in Orange County (Ahaheim area) that could do this justice, I'd like to hear them!
