well my eating in fancy restuarants and hanging out with Miss America ended today. I meet a lot of new contacts and last night at the final dinner passed out lots of business cards to people with the big bucks. I meet about 15 beautiful new girls competing in the preliminary pageants this year. The one thing about being a pageant photographer is that there is never a shortage of beautiful cliental. I will photograph up to 75 beautiful girls between 17- 25 in the next several months, and most are from towns that only have one stop light. One 17 year old from a small town promised me up to 20 girls for location senior portraits as she is on the dance team and track team and I think was homecoming queen also.So I do get alot of my business thru the pageant system.
I did a $2000 family reunion on Thanksgiving to a former pageant director and actually saw her family last night at the dinner. She informed me that her grandfather had passed away several weeks ago and that was one of the reasons I went and did a video and photo shoot. Because the elderly wont be around much longer especially if they are sick. So I took the last video and the last photographs of him alive and happy. I have lost alot of my cliental with in days of photoshoots like the newlyweds that were hit by a drunk driver about a week after the wedding killing the groom. Or when I did a model search at the mall for JC Penney a 17 year old high school girl that did surveys at the mall would hang out with me and we would make fun of people and do things you do when hanging out at the mall. She also was killed by a drunk driver and everytime I go to that mall I still expect to see her smiling with her little clipboard. I didnt get a chance to photograph her but she was scheduled for a photoshoot that upcoming weekend. I was to photograph her the weekend before her death but I WAS TO BUSY!. I will never be to busy EVER again!

Personally, I don't like doing things. Busy = bad.
Er, yeah.
