Nobody ever thinks about all the other SHIT photographers have to do! Its not just push a button............and money appears! You gotta sell yourself.........another bride interview today and l got the deposit with a credit card...that SHIT is getting OLD like I had mentioned before its like a job interview you gotta think MONEY.....dont FUCK UP this interview or I dont eat!
Post production is what is time consuming whether its digital or film it takes time to get the finished product to the client.
Just got 126 photo packages back from a $2000 order and the lab printed two the wrong size and I masked one wrong!
I had a Playboy test this weekend and shot both digital on a Nikon D100 and on a Pentax 67 both print and E-6 We have to go over contact sheets,slides and digital. Only the best images will be picked. I get so overwhelmed with SHIT sometimes that I get stressed, I just cant sleep normally I get up in the middle of the night. Last night I was so tired I slept 12 hours from lack of sleep the past couple of days!
Senior portraits appointments are booking for when it gets warmer as the high school girls love location photography.
I cant make that money though until then! The selling of those packages help put food on the table. Until then I have a mixture of everything from Valentines Day portraits to little pageant kids, I never know who my next customer is until I open my e-mail or answer the phone.
Doing model searches adds an addition lack of sleep as I am out almost every night and its really starting to KICK MY ASS but ive been doing it for so long I can sometimes get by on 4 hours sleep. I guess like they say its a dirty job but somebodys gotta do it!
