My last few days have been a standing nightmare.
here we go
I have been at work for 10 hours every day for the past four days and 17 hours on Sunday. this might have been so bad if I wasn't standing in or dangling above 3-8 feet of rushing water all day.
this is the beginning of my week
in utah they had an unusually late snow melting. the weather rose from 30-50 degrees to 70-90 in just two days. this caused all the snow still up in the mountains to melt suddenly and fill the rivers with too much water, and let the rushing and flooding begin.
I was given some rubber fishing pants and a camera and sent out to find some destruction
These are fishing pants
every moment i was at work was spent standing in water. I will admit it was fun at first but trust me wading in cold melted snow gets old real quick.
every night I went home cold, wet and exhausted.
to top it off on the third night/morning I was on my way home at 6am ish and I got a call from my parents, who was taking care of my puppy "Nibbler" while I was gone so much, to tell me that my dog was having seizures and I needed to get home very quickly to save her.
She is a diabetic dog and my parents had accidentally gave her to much insulin and she was having a low sugar lvl reaction. I spent my Monday morning force feeding my dog maple syrup. after she came out of her condition I got her to the vet. She began seizuring again at the vets. he gave her some Valium to stop the seizures and an IV with sugar water to normalize her sugar lvl.
I cam back to see her later and she was high as a kite and didn't recognize me. she slinked away whenever I tried to pet her. It brought a tear to this man's eye.
I had to go back to work and puppy stayed the night at the vets,
I sit here exhausted and half naked after this crazy week. puppy is home again asleep on my bed just as exhausted as I (seizures take alot out of her)
I am goin to do nothing for the next three days except sleep and warm myself in the hot tub.
(i will add video later of the river)
