Isn't it funny when you get involved with someone, you want to spend every waking moment with them. Day in and day out, your two minds start to meld into one, trying to find out about every corner of their mind. You just have to know everything about them. What makes them happy, sad, angry. What their beliefs are, where they come from, exactly who they are. It's an amazing thrill, a great feeling, and you can't get enough of it.
Until one day.....
It's that one day that you realise that you forgot who you are. You've been so busy figuring out who they are, and this new dual personality. You know the one that is so easily expressed in conversation as "We". "We" live here,"We" do this or "We" love this, even if your other half isn't there. But it's the self proclamation that "I" don't exsist anymore.
My "day" has come. It's bothersome and horrifying. Because, as I try to refind myself, my "I". "We" are getting scared. "We" don't know where we stand and "We" are lashing out in anger, because of this fear.
It used to be so simple,
so boring
so plesant.
Not anymore.
Now I stand holding my own hand, wondering
were "We" are going?

I'd never considered this process before; seeing it written makes so much sense.
