So my best friend came up from Miami this weekend. I've known him now for 8 years, and it's still weird thinking how time is starting to travel a lot faster as I get older. I mean it's already April, what happened to the first 3 months of this year? Scary.
But anyway, we partied like we were rock stars. Gifford (my friend from Miami) always has that effect on me. First time I ever hung out with him, I drank a bottle of jaeger and probably a whole bottle of whole grain alcohol. Bad news blues. Thats how I feel today. Blah!
But, you know, its the best time in the world.
We'll probably do it again tonight. It's nice having him here. Reminds me of times past. He knows the old me, the me before I turned into the 9-5er, sit at home and play house wife. Goes back to that whole, where did the time go?
So I've made the conscious decision to try and refind some of those old bits and pieces of me. Thanks to a great friend, stuzzy. It might take awhile, but I'm sure gonna try. First step, start the travel bug up. First trip is planned, Miami the end of May!!!! Second trip California, when?, soon. Third trip Europe, next spring or fall. Second step, hang out with my peeps more. Thats the biggy.
Oh, there is so much more, but we'll start here. Baby steps right.
