Wow, four days since my last log-in... 'over-worked' is a phrase springing to mind here- definitely catch-up time...
Whaddya do when you work for a company who keep scheduling you to work eight or nine days straight...? Mmm. Never underestimate the power of a day off here and there. Or of a weekend.
I accomplished nearly everything I set out to do this week... okay, with the exception of assasinating Phil Collins, but I have the theory he is the product of evil goverment experiments... there isn't one Phil Collins, they have a gazillion of the buggers being grown in a lab in Costa Rica...
And the mixertape sorta fell by the wayside... too much music to choose from, not enough tape...
Jeez... tiiiiired...
So today was my first day off in ages... wake up and the sun is blaring in the window- I was so happy.
And I so wanna sit here and write out everything that's been going on with me but... Ugh- Writers block... sigh.
Walked.. shopped... ate... record-hunted... wandered around a gallery or two... poeple-watched...caught up with my friend karen...
...writers block...
Regardless, the agenda for tonight:
-Lasagne with Garlic bread and potatoes rolled in rosemary and pepper, in the oven as we speak...
-White wine that has been crying out to be consumed for... well, for too long. I need a good drink. Not to get smashed, per se- more just to get happy...
-Maybe a nice long bath with lotsa bubbles...
-Cranking the temperature up in here and getting cuddly in the old jammies under a blanket or two...
-Watching a movie or two... Maybe Virgin Suicides or Almost Famous... again. Some movies you can just watch and watch, of course Iain does have a few in his collection that remain obscure and unfamiliar...
-Whatever else follows
-Basically chilling out...
I need a good night's sleep too
*yawn*
