Am I the only person in the world not freaking out about this whole 'war' thing? I don't know what it is. Maybe when things start blowing up I will feel more in touch with it, but it feels like they've been talking about it for so long that.... oh you know what I mean
'Chemical warfare, chemical warfare, chemical warfare, warfare,warfare....'
Is it time to start enjoying the little things yet? It's beautifully sunny today- upliftingly so. Iain will be sleepiong into the afternoon having stayed up most of the night going through those 45's, putting them into some kind of order I guess. He also has to find some way of making sleeves for them since they were essentially bare in a case... a hundred of them. So much good stuff...
Oo-kay- Awkward blushy part-
To anyone who has posted and posts in my journal- I'd like to say a big thank- you. Sometimes you make all the difference in just making a day that is grinding along turn around and get infinitely less forced.
I've been feeling sorta weird lately- not bad so much a lot of the time, more just thatI'm neither feeling overtly positive or negative. Maybe it has a lot to do with having come 4000 miles for school / a relationship and having essentially... had everyone back in Ontario just vanish on me. I feel weirdly cut adrift....
Coming on this site somehow makes me feel more grounded and everyone is so... unabashedly themselves, and in a world where so many people put on a front- it's somewhat comforting. It makes it easier for me to feel that I can do the same.
I've been hiding myself away a lot - emotionally - I don't so much feel like I need to hide who I am from anyone here....
And just in case we all get blown to smithereens in the next few days- I just thought I'd tell you that you make me smile.
Thank you all- and keep being yourselves- you put colour in my gray, gray days.
hugs to all of you,
Jen

Send him some good juju, will ya? he needs it as he lays upon what he japes is his deathbed...
We might all be on our deathbeds- not that I feel any more 'with' what's going on in Iraq, I just woke up this morning and thought-
'I wonder what we're going to blow up today...'
I'm building a rocket-ship to get off this planet- who's with me?
