So we ended up having a fairly nice weekend..we went to the bay area to visit my step-son for his b-day, and have lunch with him on sat. afternoon, and then after that we took a drive...we ended up along hgwy 1 which is right along the coast, perfect for cruising..we were going to try and get a roomj at big sur, but they were all full...we ended up in some little hotel that was right along the road

...it was very nice, comfy, with a fire place and no tv(much to the dismay of my husband...go figure) and we had dinner at a restaraunt right next door...i had duck, and it was good!!....i had been hoping for a bit of romance, but we were both so tired..him especially from driving, that we both sacked out at about 9:30...i actually got some sleep and slept straight through till 7:30 the next morning, thats quite an acomplishment for me!!


...we fooled around a bit the next morning, just the usual stuff, and then we had breakfast, and headed out to Morro Bay, and hung out there for a couple of hours, and then took backroads home..then we spent the remainder of sunday having a Pink Panther marathin, and watched all the original movies...all in all it was a good weekend...spent way too much moeny that we really shouldnt have, but it was well worth it...there are pics in my pics section, go check them out!!!
