VD challenge

and no i'm not refering to "VD" as most would think. i'm talking about Veteran's Day. most folks these days don't consider this a real "holiday" and to be quite honest, i never did either....that is, up until a couple years ago when i deployed to the sands of Iraq and lost a very VERY good friend.

i now post this challenge. if you are in the military, go out and be part of a parade. let the community see you standing tall and proud of who and what you are, and of what you serve. if you're not in the military, then please, go out and cheer for the soldiers that may be passing by in formation as part of a parade. know this much...some soldiers have deployed, most will at some time or another. if they never do, then they are the lucky ones, but it's what we all ultimately signed up for.

as a combat vet and a soldier that has lost a close friend, for all those that support me and those like me, i just want to say thank you. remember, WE are here for YOU!!!!!
