.:: What the hell! ::.
We got about an inch of ice the night before last and then yesterday we had about 4 inches of snow dumped on top of that. Just 15 miles SE of me people got slammed with 10+ plus inches. I was really looking forward to a real snow storm. You know, the kind of storm where the bottom of your car leaves drag marks through the snow or the "pumpkin" of your 4x4 leaves furrows through as you drive 20 miles to work.
Can you believe that they canceled schools all across the metro today? 90% were canceled last light.
The temp was only 15 F, the snow had stopped, for the northern half of the metro, by 6 PM, and the wind chill was only 10 F.
Last night before I left work to go home I called my local O'Reilly automotive store, actually I called several, to price how much chains would cost for my car. ( I live on top of a hill that never gets plowed) None of them had any in stock. "I guess no one thought of order any" was the response I got from the clerk. Not, "Sorry Sir, we're sold out." Oy vey.
Hm I wonder if the clerk knew the guy in the store from yesterdays post?
