No blog. Yeah I know, bad social creature!
I've thought many times about starting one but I don't know what on earth I would write about.
What brought me to KC from Central Wisconsin? It was by way of Phoenix that I arrived in KC. There was a woman that I met while camping at the Heartland Pagan Festival near Kansas City. Amy and I hit it off and she convinced me to move to KC and stay with her. After a several weeks she asked me to find my own place because she wasn't ready to share her time and space. A few months later I met my would-be wife. Cherie and I have been together for 7 years, married for two.
I originally left WI to experience other places. I was tired of the midwest and the cold. My uncle invited me to stay with him in Phoenix until I got my own place so I jumped at his offer. I ended up in Phoenix for almost a year.
I usually make it back home once a year. Mom and Dad live near Mattoon and my brother lives in Milwaukee. This year I am trying to plan a trip north around xmas.
Life has been dealing me some interesting cards. Back in July I started my own company as a survival measure because my former employer went out of business. VRi was an IT solutions company that did everything from designing and hosting websites to network maintenance and support. I started Net-Walker Technology Solutions to fill the void that VRI left behind and brought my co-workers with me. It's been an interesting ride so far and my biggest challenge today is myself. I'm dealing with some major motivational issues because I feel a little burned out. It's been like this for the past two months. bleh. Otherwise life it cool!
