We got about an inch of ice the night before last and then yesterday we had about 4 inches of snow dumped on top of that. Just 15 miles SE of me people got slammed with 10+ plus inches. I was really looking forward to a real snow storm. You know, the kind of storm where the bottom of your...

As I was going through the check out at my local CVS drugstore I came across unlikely and slightly disturbing combination of checkout items. I imagine that it was purely innocent in nature but my twisted mind being the way it is, just formed all sorts of um interesting scenarios.

Hm Don't really know what to put here. It started off as a test message from my cell phone that I soon found out I was not able to delete. Oh well. Lettuce see if I can find something more interesting to put online in the next few days.

No blog. Yeah I know, bad social creature!
I've thought many times about starting one but I don't know what on earth I would write about.
What brought me to KC from Central Wisconsin? It was by way of Phoenix that I arrived in KC. There was a woman that I met while camping at the Heartland Pagan Festival near Kansas City. Amy and I hit it off and she convinced me to move to KC and stay with her. After a several weeks she asked me to find my own place because she wasn't ready to share her time and space. A few months later I met my would-be wife. Cherie and I have been together for 7 years, married for two.
I originally left WI to experience other places. I was tired of the midwest and the cold. My uncle invited me to stay with him in Phoenix until I got my own place so I jumped at his offer. I ended up in Phoenix for almost a year.
I usually make it back home once a year. Mom and Dad live near Mattoon and my brother lives in Milwaukee. This year I am trying to plan a trip north around xmas.
Life has been dealing me some interesting cards. Back in July I started my own company as a survival measure because my former employer went out of business. VRi was an IT solutions company that did everything from designing and hosting websites to network maintenance and support. I started Net-Walker Technology Solutions to fill the void that VRI left behind and brought my co-workers with me. It's been an interesting ride so far and my biggest challenge today is myself. I'm dealing with some major motivational issues because I feel a little burned out. It's been like this for the past two months. bleh. Otherwise life it cool!
How about yourself? What took you to Ak?
