I found a place in Liar Liar when he lies. My day has come!
Anyway at the part where he tells his secretary about his predicament she asks him a question about a friend of hers who got sued by a burglar who hurt himself while robbing her. She asks if it was justice that the burglar got 7 million dollars and he says, "No, Ida' got him ten."
Here's where the lie comes.
Now she storms off, and in an attempt to get her to stay he says,
"No... ask me again.
I DIDN"T UNDERSTAND THE QUESTION!"
That statement in that context is a lie. He clearly understood the question because he gave an honest answer to it, therefore he wouldnt be able to state that he didn't understand the question, because of physical restriction we see in other parts of the movie, even in a plea to his secretary, . So there you go. The whole movie is flawed.
Thank You.
