Hmm. haven't updted this in a while...
Last week, my best friend came up from Norfolk, Thursday we went out to a little hole in the wall bar about a half mile from my parent's house out in the boonies of Geauga county. We both presented our military IDs when they carded us, but we were told they only accept state drivers licenses as identification.
That's odd, but whatever... driver's liscense, get served, sitting down talking and drinking, when...
I look up at the far wall and see a little chalk board announcing their specials. "Thursday night is veteran's night!" We about fell off our bar-stools laughing. Oh the sweet, sweet irony.

The KMFDM show last night was awesome. They didn't play anything off of XTORT, which is both good and bad. It's an amazing album, and probably the best known, but for those exact same reasons, they don't need (and probably don't want) to play it at every show. The mosh pit was the most energetic i've seen in a while, and loads of fun. Also, they did 2 encores, and stuck around after the show to have a couple drinks and sign autographs and whatnot. If you weren't there, you missed a damn good time.
