Soooooo here it is...
Firstly the weekend ruled! Great party with just the right amount of people, pretty low key but it was all the peeps that im really close with so that was a plus! The 24 challenge could have gone better, i let a lot of people down. I passed out during Episode II of the Star Wars saga, and woke up during Episode IV, but i woke up hung over to hell. Needless to say i got to 15 beers. I could have done better but its tough when your just sitting down and drinking for like 6 hours! I need to try again in some sort of party environment hahah! Wish me luck!
Now on to the band issue. We kicked ass once again in the semi-finals. So now we are off to play one of this biggest venues in this fair city i call my home, with a very popular Canadian band called Ill Scarlet. We are facing off against a band that we met in this competition called Obsidian. We have become friends with these guys and we do have plans to play shows together, so its gona be tough to kick their ass! One of the judges is a dude by the name of Rob Dyer, who founded Skate4Cancer if you know what that is. He works with a lot of bands and does a lot of touring (like Warped tour etc...) with them to spread awareness of the different types of cancer. Hes a killer dude and this is what he said about us:
"You guys are as good or better than a lot of bands on Wapred Tour!"
That hit home and means so much! So wish us luck to win the whole shebang, it would a lot if you guys could check out our myspace and maybe add a comment or two. Hell if you come to the show this Thursday i will give you a free Tshirt!
