Heh haven't updated this in quite some time...wow. Well, things got a little hectic around here and I retreated into my shell for a little bit, but I'm doing a bit better now.
First off, my friend Adam moved in with Tommy because he got booted from his house. While it didn't start out to be a problem, it soon got bad when personalities clashed and no privacy was available to anyone. A few bitchy fights later, everything was okay and he went off to a dig site for a month today. He'll be moving back into his house and thus the crisis is over. It was a great example of "moving in with your best friend is the worst idea EVER".
School got hectic as well, with me worried as hell about getting good grades to either raise my gpa or keep it to where it was. I was very worried about film class and while I think the teacher didn't really care for anything I had to say, he was nice enough to give me a B on my paper. So hopefully I get a B in that class. Same goes for computers, where I didn't do shit.
Balancing work and school was a challenge as well. With my other jobs, I merely quit my job and focused on school, but with this being a student assistant job AT school, I need to keep it. I think without the job I'd have done even worse in school because that job gave me so much time and motivation to study. Library job = awesome.
My dog also died a few weeks ago and boy was it a sad day. My dad cried a few times and for him to cry....damn. He was a good dog and he had an awesome life, so I'm glad he went painlessly.
Another big crisis was that my cousin decided at the last minute that she was going to drive from San Antonio to her home in North Carolina and thus stop at our house.
Which led to my mom freaking out in her OCD/Small Town Syndrome way and we had uber-cleaning time. My room also had to be cleaned because someone was going to sleep in it, and so that was irksome to have to deal with my room not being up to my mother's standards. But they came and went and it was okay.
So tomorrow I start summer school for a maymester and then after that...New Zealand! *dance* Gonna go seem my friends and have a good time and buy tons of Lord of the Rings crap and whatever else they sell over there. Some touristy bullshit and duty free stuff. I'm excited. Hehe.
That's all on an update from me.
