I'm going through my entire digital photo collection from the last like three or four years (there's over 12,000 photos here) and it's just amazing what old photos can bring back. It makes me even sadder now. i feel like my happy days are behind me. I never feel like taking photos. i used to be so curious, so ambitious, so experimental. Now i have to force myself to get anything done.
This one in particular was interesting
I remember that day pretty well. I got a haircut before work that day. It was the first time i ever listened to Sigur Ros. I had just bought their album Takk and decided, after my haircut, that i had time to kill before work. It was gorgeous sunny day, so I decided just listen to the album and go for a drive. It was when i drove through the housing development that my girlfriend at the time was living that i saw that kid. The sunny day, the music, and that experience all came together to make an unforgettable and powerful experience.
As cool as New York is, i can barely think of any moments like that happening here.

It's wonderful to remember when you first fall inlove with a band/music piece. Like the smells, the weather, the things around.. the day that accompanied it.
but the sedder is always alot of fun
