Is the world turning slowly upside down? Are we entering an age of political and social unrest that could actually be great enough to move people to protest? The next few years of our lives may be some of the most important and dramatic we'll ever see. This is nothing new to anyone. But i'm a little freaked out, and a little excited.
Is it twisted that a part of me wants to see the economy crumble further? There's a part of me that says "hey. let the companies crumble and jobs be lost and people be driven to desperation. Maybe then we'll really see people FIGHT for something."
I don't really want that to happen. But i'm scared of a world with people like McCain and Palin and a system that is so sadly twisted away from what our roots are and what democracy really means. And it'll take something drastic to push people over the threshold of tolerance before they start fighting for what they think is right. I am disheartened by the disempowerment of this country's young, angry, and poor.
blah blah blah. this isn't about anything. i'm just a bit unsettled by the news and current affairs and the obvious reality that my future is so completely uncertain and unstable.

I need a furniture removal truck if I move up to Auckland Its about an 11 hour drive from here I think. Basically I'm at the bottom of the north island and i need to get up north. Yey
hahahaha you know that guy? You probably took the picture right? A man who has power over cats has power over everything. haha. Look at the girl behind him shes paralysed with desire. I agree though Samuel L. Jackson would be much cooler
Thats quite a good mixture of room mates! Must make for some interesting stories. The way you describe the Midwest reminds me of that movie "Deliverance". And if you havn't seen it - don't. "Eloi" - what a cute name. Sounds like something a little child would say. I won't make any more fun of Brittish accents since you live with one now! Nor will I talk about British teeth. hahaha
Awesome that you bake! I dont know very many guys that bake. I know lots that cook obviously but not bake. Hmmm. I'm going to try coffee in brownies now. You've inspired me. Maybe you should make coffee and hash brownies and see if anyone notices. Take them up to school and hand them out
You must be so excited about handing in your final!! yay. What are you going to do now? (besides baking of course) I need this for the next chapter
