If you listen to anything in this track, listen to the third verse. I can honestly say i think it is one of the hottest rap verses i've ever heard. I was kinda disappointed by Jay's work on this track though, as it's just itching for more serious, introspective lyricism, not "Look at me, i'm the shit" stuff...
I dunno if i mentioned it before, but i quit the band i was playing in. Now i'm hunting for new collaborators. I'm trying to drive myself creatively to a new level. yarrr. I like that i'm a perfectionist in that respect.
oh oh oh! and i dunno if anybody else will find this exciting, but i just got THIS in the mail:
Holy smokes! It's like phonebook thick too! Now i need to really start wood-shedding til i learn a ton of these tunes and become the most awesomest guitar player eversss.
or something

the black bean homous was black beans, 1/2 a tomato chopped, some salsa, three cloves garlic, maybe a tbsp olive oil, some hot sauce, a little bit of tahini, and whatever else i had in the fridge. would have been great with some lime and cilantro but i had neither.
the chapatis are super simple to make and the seitan was from la dolce vegan plus it was pre-marinated in hot sauce, paprika and maple syrup.
delicious.
