Long day, but a pretty good one overall. Went to a funeral for my coworkers mother. My office has lost 4 parents in the last 4 months, 2 moms and 2 dads. I know we are all mortal, but I don't think anyone is ever prepared for the loss of a parent. I didn't get much in the way of work done today, so I probably will do some stuff this weekend to stay ahead of the game.
BBKF got her van back, and we had dinner at Hard Times.
Lastly we sang Christmas Carols at an annual event in Fredericksburg. We sing again on Monday at 7:00PM, then we are pretty much done for the season (except for Sunday services and the Christmas Eve service).
Then it will be time for some much needed R&R. I'm beat. More tomorrow...maybe.

Yeah, I can't imagine losing my mom. We are so close. Sometimes, I run the whole scenario in my head to try and prepare myself, but I have no idea how I'll actually react when it happens. The weird thing is I have no relationship with my father. He lives in New York and I haven't seen him since My High School Graduation. Good Luck with the caroling and I hope you get the rest you deserve.
