Hey my loves, I apologise for my absence the last few days - I've been spending my days on the sofa sick for a few weeks, with suspected virus, and my great aunt passed away yesterday in Ireland, meaning I won't make it to her funeral.
It seems like one thing after another here with all these unsettling times and lots going on in the world right now. I've still been working practically 24/7 too because rent and bills don't disappear when you are sick, and work has been exceptionally quiet this past week so I'm trying to make up for the shortfall (classic me overworking myself in times like these!) I've heard some people have been laid off from work or their jobs have been put on hold and their future careers are hanging in the balance which is also extremely sad to hear.
I just wanted to reach out to you all as I know a lot of you are struggling too and can be the same as me in that we close ourselves off and just try to deal with it, alone. But we don't have to. I know that we're all here for eachother and I certainly would always want you guys to know that I'm here for you whenever you need it. That you don't have to carry a burden without help or have someone to turn to in difficult times.
I guess that's why I wanted to post this blog. So that we can talk to eachother, brighten eachother's days with some encouraging advice, give some words of hope, spread some positive energy... I know I need it right now and I'm sure a lot of you guys will too.
Let's spread some love, catch up with eachother and say something positive in the comments 😊
Together we are stronger 💖
