Yup, you guessed it! I dislocated my elbow and sprained my wrist Friday... which left me in even more pain after receiving a $1500 medical bill that my insurance didn't cover 😭 so just wanted to let you guys know why I'd gone a little more quiet than normal - because typing with one hand also aches a lot!!!
I was hiking red rock with my sister the day I found out I lost my friend, Sotonja, to Suicide. My head wasn't right and I lost my footing up the climb. I fell onto my arm and passed out! Luckily it wasn't a steep fall, just unfortunate, and luckily it wasn't worse. I count my blessings for that.
I'm a lefty and it was my left arm/wrist that I damaged so a lot of things are really difficult right now, but I'll manage and heal in time. I've got a sexy splint to wear and have a few shoots coming up, let's hope I can remove it at least while shooting!!
