*sigh*
Sorry I wasn't really around today
But, god help me, I took my old job back. They called me and needed me cause the girl that was supposed to show just didn't without calling or anything. So I went in. I kind of thought it would be just a one time thing. But then they fired the girl that hadn't showed up cause she came in 3 hours late. And they basically said that they really need me back and could I please stay on.
I worked with good people. So I just couldn't turn them down. I quit cause of the job, not the people. And they really needed me, cause they haven't been able to get a decent girl since I left. So I couldn't really say no.
A few hours later, I was wondering why I said yes. I love the people, I love the money, but I hate the job. It's a waitressing job at a strip club by the way, in case you were wondering.
But well, good news of the day is I got a $50 dollar tip from this one guy!!!
I'll try to be around more tomorrow. Sleepy now, must go to bed...

And I fondly remember the 50-100$ tips from businessmen-made it all worthwhile.
welcome to the site, cutie.

Mind your head with this new job. If you have a clear timeline for when you may find better employment, cool. If not, take heed, you might get stuck.
You're a smart girl, though! Just count those tips at the end of the night and keep perspective. You're obviously pretty good at looking out for number one.
Back in Tejas, yet? It was in the high-80's today where I live and I wanted to crawl under a rock or into a burrow. I couldn't handle it. I can't imagine how hot it must be in Tejas.
Speaking of Tejas, I read an article in Juxtapoz magazine that talked about a Chicano art exhibit, which was started by Checch Marin. He said that San Antonio was to Chicano art, what Italy was to Renaissance art (or something like that). Apparently, you're in a cultural hub. Go nuts!
