-Funny thing . . . a couple days back I started a painting and didn't think it was very good, so I resolved myself to painting over it. But I didn't want to right away, since there were a fgew nice things about it and I wanted to look at it a little while longer. . . and then tonight i decided to just mess around and try a few things with it since I wasn't keeping it anyway, and whaddaya know, it turned out reasonable well, and now I've decided I like it. If I still had a digital camera I'd take a picture . . . maybe I'll get a new one for Christmas?

Whenever I paint, I cover and cover and cover. I wish I could be happy, but I always think that there is some way to make it better. My paintings are never finished.
