Sorry all for the long absence. Probably not going to be the most fun till next month either. frown
Wow, it has been quite a while since I've been able to get on here. Combine a ten day stretch at work with one of the WORST novembers I've had in a long time (and believe me I've had some bad ones) and you get a weird...

I never met anyone with a fear of Novembers before. You could be the first you know. If so maybe you can name the disorder? smile

Moving does sound fun. Someday I wish to blow this joint and go somewhere new and exciting. Really school is the only thing that keeps me here.

Well I hope November goes by without any more problems for you.
littlequeenie:
only 5 more days left until NOV is over biggrin

It took a lot of effort, but I managed to shake of my laziness and am attempting to accomplish something today. Not a lot (don't want to strain myself) but something at least. I got to catch up on some cleaning I've been meaning to do and I finally finished stocking my kitchen with the tools I need. I can handle all my recipes now....

Eating in the bathroom is so underrated. biggrin

How do you keep your apartement so clean? mine looks trashy...clothes on the floor everywhere...I did manage to put most of my shoes on the rack though (minus my Lucy Vans which I keep in a box on the shelf b/c they are special to me) There is also an empty hello kitty toaster box on my kitchen....hopefully I can clean on Monday (if I finsish my journalism project)

The one thing I forget to buy at the store and only realize it when I get back home: RAZORS

Yippie! Tis a sunday and that means I have survived another dunk filled weekend. Time for the downhill slide into my own personal weekend. I'm afraid, however, that this one was not particularly exciting. Although a coworker of mine did try to get me shot. We had a bunch of secret service agents staying with us for Bush's visit and they were all milling around...

That would be cool to get paid for that extra hour.

That would be pretty freaky to have someone yell out bomb with a few secret service people running around. I guess you could have dressed up as a terrorist for Halloween smile

I hope you are not to plesently plump after Halloween, but if you are I can understand, and wont disown you as a friend smile

I have returnenened and am so not ready to go back to work. I really need a vacation, but I don't get one until next year frown Oh well, I guess I can learn to cope, but it's still kinda depressing. Fortunatly, though, I have some new toys to play with so I think I can make it wink
Unfortunatly my friend and I are kinda dorky...

Power outages are THE SUCK as Bigvixen would say. At least it was a night when you could just sleep it off.

Glad to hear that you were able ot catch up on some movies and video games. What games did you end up playing by the way?

Yes, power outages are THE SUCK!
I love this fishy face....
In fact I love the format of your journal today. It rocks!
The teddy bear, and GI Joes, and the game of life.....haha your awesome.

I'm glad you had a good time catching up with your buddy.

BTW...how is your apartment so clean?

Short and . . . well . . . sweet? My best friends back in town for the next couple days so my journals a little empty. Be back on Friday with pleny of stuff and hopefuly some pics(my camera finally showed) Till then, stay slinky.

taris_kah:
Hehe that site is Krazie. Pretty cool though. 3ds max is so complicated, but hopefully I can get it down. Have fun with the friend, and I'll be expecting some pictures smile
littlequeenie:
YAY, on the camera. I want to see lots 'o pics. esp. the fish faces. biggrin

I'd be surprised if you were on SG at all with your buddy in town. You two need to go out and make lots of trouble!

Wlid and wacky weekend extraordinaire so far. All fun and games though. I got a call from my old college roommate. I haven't heard from him in almost a year, so that was a bit of a shock. Then my adopted little sister from LA suddenly dropped in. She came up to see my other little sis and hit the U of M homecoming. Which...

Well glad to hear the weekend is shaping up to be a nice one. smile

Its true that when ever you need to leave work early thats usually when you end up staying longer than you normally would. I don't know what causes it, but I'm sure its some massive conspiracy. Probably involving our government and some third world country no doubt. biggrin
brewmistress:
I added u to my AIM buddy list...hopefully we can chat sometime. I'm so much more of a chatter than a post-er.

Glad to hear it was a good weekend, hopefully it made up for mine. Bismarck N. Dak can only get so interesting!

Well, I'm afraid I'll have to call my Mall adventure a draw. I managed to find the camera I was looking, but they didn't have any in stock so I have to wait for it to arrive in the mail this week. Not a huge deal, but I seem to have a talent for finding the one item in a store that they just don't...

I'm sorry you had a not-so-sell time at the mall.
Yeah I've learned that there are not any good stores in shopping malls. Only clothes and department stores..in fact there is a store soley dedicated to hats...and it's not like it's different types of hats, but all trucker hats and an embroidery machine so you can get some "I'm with stupid" logo on it.
...I'll finish commenting later today, right now I'm gonna be late for class.

Hurray!!! Today is the beginning of my weekend (with my funky schedule right now is kinda like Friday night, except that If I go stumbling drunk down the street I'll probably get arrested before I make it to the end of the block) and I have almost nothing planned. I do have to figure out what I can make with these other four frickin' hot...

Camera shopping. I am jealous. My list of wants keeps getting bigger. I'm not in the best situation right now to make it smaller sadly. frown I hear the Mall of America is all that and a bag of chips. If I'm ever up your way I'll have to check it out I guess. Its kind of weird to think of a mall as a tourist destination I think. Anyways good luck and stay strong and I'm sure you will get your camera. Just stash some bus money away though, because you will probably spend more than what you are planning if you are like me smile

I am a wait for the Walk sign kind of person.
brewmistress:
forget the walk sign! Just go! Run! (of course after looking both ways).

I'm anticipating more pics of you to be in the site within a few days! Have fun camera shopping!

Where do you work that you have an off-kilter work week?

Letting go . . . . . . . . . complete. It is definatly time to start the new season. I've managed to jettison all of last years baggage and am now preparing to take on new baggage. In honor this new leaf I've finished the incomplete parts of my profile. Not a huge step, but ambition is something that's gotta move slow.

I don't think I'd be able to survive without the use of my car. I know if they closed my street I'd cut 'em, cuz I need the use of my automobile. Actually we don't have a public transportation system here.

hotdogs and doughnuts? that is a VERY interesting combination....I'm intrigued. ...also why are you eating dinner in the morning?

HAHA. I hate those calls from Capital One....have you every asked them that question on the phone?

...so nothing weird happen at work? shoes were not stolen or anything?

I now have an interest in your Germany trip...I want you to elaborate on that. smile
I know high school trips are fun. I went to FL keys on a "biology" assignment......I learned a lot about how certain substances reacted with the human body.... wink It was very educational as well.

Nothing wrong with a few hot dogs for breakfast. Or I guess dinner? A hot dog a day I'm sure must do something smile Donuts on the other hand I find kind of disgusting. The only ones I like are the mini powdered sugar ones. My friends say I'm weird, but they like the fact they can have my donut whenever any get handed out wink

Credit cards are all evil. Yet they have their places. But that is a good point about Capital One smile

Today is Sunday and that's all I'll commit to right now. . . . although it's still a good day. I've taken my two days of abuse at work (actually had a guy cuss me out 'cause I didn't have enough change on me for him to use the pay phone followed by a guy who stole my walkie talkie and then tried to ransom...

I think Linkin Park is completly acceptable cookie making music. It's not too hard-core, but it's not too sissfied either. I think it's a perfect match.

Snow, that's exciting. I've never actually seen real snow, well I guess I sorta have, one Christmas in Fl, it did snow. It wasn't very much, just enough to lightly coat the ground. Then the sun came out and it melted. frown But I've never seen enough snow to actually play in it.

I cannot believe some guy made off with your walkie-talkie and then tried to ransom it back. HAHA that is hilarious.
You have the funniest stories ever!

*what is your favorite dessert?
*can you keep a secret?
*last person to send you a Hallmark card?
taris_kah:
Death by chocolate would be a very nice and pleasurable way to go I imagine. I would be willing to have a crack at it myself. I made some cookies yesterday, but I have had and made better. Still they were good. Its hard to make a bad chocolate chip cookie I think.

I think any music is acceptable for cookie making. Hopefully you didnt get to angry with the cookies though and do something you will regret. smile

I was worried that the time would never come, but I think my sister has finally gotten old old enough to actually be fun. Something about little kids and I; I'm afraid we just don't jive. She's not a little kid anymore, though. We can actually talk about stuff, watch the same shows, even play games where I can try my hardest and still lose....

Spam. I know I used to eat it all the time, but its been years since I have even seen a can.

Currently I am getting along with my youngest brother the best. (13yrs) The 18 year old brother is generally a pain in the ass. He does have his moments though.

I suppose I wouldnt worry about being the best human on the planet, but I dont think I would lead a life to help condemn me even further. So I guess I would probably continue down the road that I am on. Although if God showed up at my door I think I would more than likely become a true believer really quickly and probably become some kind of religion extremist smile
brewmistress:
Gotta love siblings. My 18yr old sis is coming home from Mankato State for only the second time since school started this year. So, really, gotta love freshman. She's doing to be debuting the new balck-and-fushia-striped harido that our parents have yet to see. We'll see how it goes.

If you appreciate spam (and I really don't), then you should definitely take the voyage to the Spam museum, if you haven't already. It's definitely a fun afternoon. You'd think, "Hey, how cool could it be?" But, I guarnatee, no matter how lofty your ideas of the place are, you'll still be impressed! It's am amazing work of american and minnesotan history and culture.
