Today marks the one year anniversary of me getting fired from my previous job, and I honestly think it was one of the best things to happen to me.
Here's a quick re-cap of what happened. I was a manager of a convenience store in Cheltenham and I was miserable! I had hardly any staff, I was going in on most of my days off, my deputy was off on maternity leave and I was working stupid hours (I was working 32 hours over two days every weekend). Then one day I got suspended and then sacked over things I put on Facebook. They weren't bad comments, I wasn't badmouthing the company I worked for or anything, but apparently they went against the Midcounties I.T. policy.
Since then I got a new job working nights for another supermarket chain. I now have a social life again, I've lost over a stone in weight and i'm happier than I've been for years!
