And now it's all over. Christmas is done for another year.
Had to work on christmas eve, which was bad enough. But i started at 5.30am which made it even worse. but i did finish at 1pm, so i can't really complain. I was going to have a sllep when i got home, but ended up watching Gremlins 2 instead. So, when my friend mike (who's back from cambridge for christmas) came over and we headed to the local for the traditional xmas eve piss-up, i was absolutely knackered. Still a good night was had. Everyone drank a bit too much, i spent some quallity time with some good friends and i got to meet Archon and his brother (he's the first person from this site that i've actually met in real life.)
didn't hace too bad a hangover the next morning.
All in all it's been a good christmas. Santa bought me an ipod shuffle, cds by the Feeling and Oasis, Mighty Boosh live on dvd and a few books. which was nice.
Christmas day was spent at my aunties (along with my parents, two aunts, two uncles and one cousin.) where i ate way too much food. but doesn't everyone. It was a really good day, apart from the point where a drunken aunt accidently hit me in the balls with a pool cue!
Boxing day was strange though. the morning was ok. i met up with ryan (an old friend of mine who now lives in bristol). in the afternoon me and mike went to the View (the local pub that we went to xmas eve) to meet Andrew, his girlfriend gem, chris and jo. It started out ok, but things got a bit tense when andrew said he wanted to stay at the pub instead of going to gems for food like he promised. Anyway, by 6ish it was just me and mike there and we were about to leave when gem came back in. we spent the next three hours having a deep and meaningful conversation about life, love, the universe and everything else. At 9pm we were leaving as mike had to get home and gem said she'd drive him home. just as we were leaving, andrew came back in in a mood. words were said between him and gem, so after taking mike home me and gem went back to the pub so gem could see if she could sort things out with andrew. but nothing had been sorted when i left at half 12. so God knows what happened after i left.
