Thoughts:
I'd quickly like to share a piece of my mind, please note that this is my own personal opinion and that I'm not trying to provoke anyone.
These days it feels like SuicideGirls (including hopefuls) only try and monetize from content like for example Custom Sets, not focusing on SuicideGirls Sets anymore. I get the whole point of Custom Sets (If a users would like to see something different, which the person doesn't normally do) and out of curiosity I've asked someone how much a custom set would cost, the price for one custom set is almost equal to a year subscription at SuicideGirls (and I'm assuming that the set doesn't even get loaded onto SG, but an external site for download, I've also seen links to external sites with custom sets that anyone purchase) .. in my opinion that's not right and these sets nor external sites shouldn't get advertised on SG but rather on other social media, like Twitter or Facebook for example.
Others sell Polaroids, which is perfectly fine in my opinion because you're supporting the "artist" but keep the content on SG and original, not custom sets nor external sites.
Due to this fact and the fact that SuicideGirls (including hopefuls) not giving nearly enough attention to their followers (once again, not everyone just generally speaking) I'm seriously reconsidering if I should resubscribe to my membership.
Kudos to the following member for going out of her way to make her own mini-set for her followers, please note that she didn't ask me to promote her, I'm just actually glad seeing that someone's doing something to make her followers happy. (which also seems rare these days) She's not trying to monetize from it, and I know there's other members doing this as well but she's the only one I've seen so far.
I'd highly suggest checking her out. @valley
