Either that, or find some way to get rid of him (preferably not one that gets you in jail...) like talking to your landlord.
Also, make sure you let your personal tutor know what's going on. When I was at uni, I never talked to mine, various problems just got worse and worse, and I ended up not getting a degree at the end of it
