Hello.
Just a few things:
1. The Fox has asked me to do a Thursday night low-key thing (no karaoke, just neat music). I haven't decided whether I'll bite just yet, since I don't really give a shit about DJing or figuring out what particular song people need to hear at any given moment to prompt them to get off their ass and dance a bit. I find that shit really boring, and I generally turn down all offers for such work, but I've assured the Fox that if I do it, the task will be carried out with only the snottiest, most lackadaisical attention, and their interest is somehow unfettered. We'll see how that pans out, but it might be a good night to hang out at and just chill without all the hubbub of the regular PeteRockRadio show.
2. I'd like a couple more shows, but they have to be worth it. First off, they have to pay (and by pay, I mean fucking PAY). Second, they can't be in divey bars or places where the patrons are common scumbags. Third, the bar needs to be comfortable with the type of shit I throw down at the Monday show, plus plus plus. And last, there has to be regular attendance and a commitment from the bar to hang in through the bumpy stretches.
If that can all be somehow accomplished, and someone found me a place that was interested and ended up turning into something cool, there'd be something in it for you. Let me know (privately) if you hear a rumble, dig?
That's all I feel like writing right now. Chew on that and I'll pop in later. Note - again - that I respond to comments left in my journal right in my comments section.
There's some other porny stuff I want to say about certain people, but I think I'm going to just say it out loud here and enjoy it all by myself. Maybe later.
