I know that we don’t get heat here in England that can really match with some places around the world. I’m thinking back to my trip to the South of France in the height of summer. That was HOT. Yet it’s still been pretty darn hot around here recently. One of the few remaining perks of my current job is that the whole building is air conditioned. That does mean that once you leave it’s like stepping out into a furnace. I kinda don’t mind heat when you are on the beach, sipping on a beer or enjoying an ice cream. But a hot night in a house that’s become an oven, that’s not so much fun. I have been relying on fans and the thinnest pjays I can find. Which works, but I’d like this to be done soon. Or at least goes on hold until my next holiday. I might be able to enjoy it then.
