I’m coming to the end of my managerial secondment, about two working weeks left before I give up the jacket and go back to rank and file. While it’s not been an absolutely flawless performance, on the whole I think it went well. Learned a lot, certainly. Now that I’m looking at the other end, I’m also looking at the future. And back to my writing. I’ve got a few interesting opportunities coming up. One is a course aimed at aspiring writers to get a novel published. Since I have a novel nearly completed I thought why not. Seize the moment. The other is an unpaid opportunity writing blogs for a gaming site with some cool perks; early access to new games maybe. Right now I’m still in a test period but if I pass that, then they might take me on. We will see.
