edit 2: I forgot I wanted to post a quote from Californication about walking in LA because I had basically said the same thing to my friend in LA and I thought this scene was cute:

one day I walked from Los Feliz to Hollywood and Highland and then most of the way back just because I felt like taking a walk..probably about 5 or so miles.

edit 3...I was tired last night when I wrote this blog! ..plus i have an awful memory!

but I dunno how I forgot to mention that I was eating at this diner in Los Feliz ..sitting near the door...when the door opens..I look and it's Flea Thinking I knew him or something I smiled and said "Hi"..he smiled and said the same. then I'm like oh duh! it's Flea! I didn't bother him though..and shortly after his family joined him and then they left after a few minutes of reading the menu...but he did say bye to me on the way out hehe

also..Carmen Electra was on my Virgin America flight home.. in coach! She smiled at me when we picked up our luggage in JFK....I don't really care about her..but it was weird to see her in coach with everyone else. Then again, the first class on Virgin isn't very big or incognito anyway.

and today I actually waited on Eddie Kaye Thomas...but I didn't let on that I knew who he was..just acted like my normal attentive waitress self. And I was definitely not going to say anything after he looked at me with a "please don't recognize me!" look...like he hardly wanted to make eye contact. he didn't seem like he wanted to be bothered at all...but after a few times of me refilling his coffee and it was obvious i wasn't going to say anything he seemed to loosen up a bit.
I actually met him once before outside of an off broadway play (december 30 2005..i remember cos it was Eliza Dushku's bday..and she was in a rush to get away after the show)..Dog Sees God..where he had played Charlie Brown..and I met and took a picture with Ian Somerhalder

so this was a halloween window dressing for a vintage store called Squaresville in los feliz. clearly this is a pregnant sharon tate hung and bound with her swastika bearing hippie killers...
i'm open minded (and slightly twisted), and kind of dug it ...but I can see how people would totally be offended by this..definitely a shocker. a few days later the mannequins were taken down and "censored" signs were put up
